Texture messed up

Hi guys, Id being texturing a model using zbrush and zapp when I exported the texture out as a bmp i got lots of problems with it. The picture below shows u a section of the uv map and clearly a texturing mess. Also I noticed when using zapplink i found when going from photoshop to zbrush sometimes little artifacts would appear on the texture and these would be saved into the texture any ideas guys.

Are you polypainting, or texture painting? What are your steps? What does the UV map look like?
