texture import

I am texturing a human figure (right now the head) mainly with Spotlight and 3dsk images. They are all JPGs with the same dimensions (4992x3360 or vice versa). When I am importing a total view of the head everything is fine and I happily can start painting, but if I try to import a detail/close-up shot of e.g an eye plus nose or just an ear and some jaw, then zBrush 4 will give me a striped texture (both in the texture menu and also if loaded in Image Plane and with document settings with the above-mentioned dimensions).

How are these close up views being generated? What if you use the PSD format instead of JPG? Could you show examples? Provide a sample file or two?

Aurick, I feel really stupid. I have been trying this import of details for days now. Thank you for the simple solution: The texture import does load the PSD file unscrambled… Just to show you what it does with the JPEG I have uploaded the two JPEGs side by side…
