Texture from mask Zb4R2 Broken?

Is texture from masking on Zb4R2 on mac broken? Is there any workaround for it? I guess if so, it don’t be fixed until Zb5, I’m wrong?

Any functions involving converting masking to textures or alphas dont appear to be functioning correctly at present.

A work around is to invert the mask on your object, make sure RGB or MRGB is pressed on the top shelf, select a dark color, and fill the object with color (Color>Fill Object). This will fill your formerly masked portion with polypaint, and you can convert that to a texture with Texture from Polypaint.

As to when it will be fixed, we can only speculate. But Pixo have made statements that suggested (to me) that they were working on an update that didn’t sound like it was Zb5. Take that for what it’s worth.
