I don’t have the pencil concepts to show as I have no scanner, yet…

I have just finished the low polygon render model for this character, once the UVW’s are done I will be moving into ZBrush to create the normal map. Will post these soon.

Please give feedback and also a name!

This is a guardian character for a female enemy in a ficitional game.

Lingua is latin for tongue so maybe "Lingua

Excellent work so far! I love the color of the terracotta and the texturing. Will the zbrush model have the same pose too?

Doesn’t seem like a game creature to me at all. I would go for something technical. Traditions dino, dragon or iguana base names.

I will pose the character after I have rigged it in XSI, so it may end up like the sculprture but I’ll be keeping it open.

In regard to the name I agree, Maybe Linguasaurus as one of the attacks of this creature will be like that of the iguana’s tongue.

Hhhhmmmmm, I think it needs an exciting name, especially if based off a female character. Something like ‘Frean’, or ‘Sazaraa’, or ‘Pheonire’, hahaha, I could go on and on…

Nice work, will be great to see you replicate this in 3d and to see how close to your original you can stay.
