TERMINATOR + video tutorial!!

Could I make a request please. Could you (and everyone else out there) please save your movies as QuickTime files. QuickTime is compatible with both PC and Mac computers. Unfortunately my Mac computer’s QuickTime can’t read avi formatted movies.

I know we aren’t as large a community as PCs, but a large number of artists do use the Mac.

Is there any way you can re-save this tutorial in the QuickTime for us Mac people? If not. Is it possible to get a download link where maybe a video editor may be able to read the AVI format.

thank you

Cool de-construction
Thx for the videos!
Pilou

Thanks pilou! Your comments are always welcome!

nice

LD: You might want to download the 3ivx codec set for quicktime on mac, I’ve found it to handle most divx/mpg4 avi’s within quicktime just fine.

mestela: Thanks for the tip. I installed the 3ivx codex and was able to watch the movies.

thanks for the help about the codec…
I hope you will like my videos.

Wow Sebcesoir! Thanks for sharing your great skills!

Sebcesoir… Many thanks!!.. Being a visual person myself, seeing your videos is worth a thousand words …great job and thanks for posting!:+1: :+1:

Thanks

hi, very intesting videos !!:+1: :+1:
can I ask you some questions ? the geometrical deformations, how did you make it ? and the green mask for selection ? in the final videdo, you model the skul on the human head…how did you do it?
I’ m leaenig yet, and I don’t know this way to model .

thank you and good zbrushing:sunglasses:

AWESOME! :+1: :+1: :+1:

Wow, very impressive stuff. :+1:

I hope I can get as good as you one day.

I made geometrical deformatioms using the move tool, to place the diffrents parts of the face correctly.
I also worked a lot on lower resolution mesh to erase details like hairs and hears.
The greens selection is just used to hide parts, I dont rememrmber the shortcut, should be control+shift, or control alt…
The changing of shape, I used the morph tool; I saved the high resolution terminator face as obj, and as its the same number of points as the old face, I loaded it a morph target, soI could sculpt the parts to morph.

Had to have a look again. Very cool end result. Thanks again for the workflow explanation and .AVI’s :+1:

Very good this model, I want to see the remain of the modeling of the body of the perssonagem…

ohh dude! For the body, I think it would be better to modelise it with a classic 3d programm, I personally think tha zb is no the best too to create complex mechanic parts, but I know he can…

Today, I have seen your video that shows great works you’ve done.
God loves you.
One thing, morph target is used, I believe. :+1: :+1: :+1:

You are very talented person Sebcesoir and the way you use Z is by one word -great. Could you tell us how many hours did you spent on entire progress? Are you going to texturize the model?
Video is very nice too. :+1:

Thanks for sharing it!

Thanks guys!
I couldnt tell you exactly how long it took me for this work, I did it separatly, and a long time ago.
First I did the old guy, based on a previous head mesh (with a lot of triangles).
Then I sculpted the terminator, I think its took me 2 days, maybe 3, I cant remember…
But I this time I hadn’t the good knowledges of zbrush I have now, I see all the defaults I didnt see before.
Almost for the mechanics elements on the side of the head, they are definitively too smooth, but I sculpt them the classical way, instead of using geometric primitives… I should have pinched the tooth too… I have a much better rendering of the skeletton girl I did (in my gallery).
You learn by doing mistakes!
