Hi everyone,
I am looking for a tutorial or method of how to make tendrils in Zbrush. I am working on a 3d sea monster sculpt. However, I decided that I wanted to create tendrils instead of tentacles.
Here’s my sculpt so far:
What I want to do is delete the suction-cups and feelers for my tentacles and turn them into slimy, bumpy tendrils.
I want tendrils that are sticky due to either a mucous like a frog’s or a chameleon’s tongue, or some sort of electrostatic adhesion, which would allow it to grasp objects and people without having to wrap around them, and then be able to release it’s prey at will or once the creature is dead.
Here are some reference photos of what I want the tendrils to look like.
A good material perhaps?
