Hey ZBC! So first off let me say that I have been a long time lurker of these forums, and make a comment here or there, but have yet to post anything I have made in Zbrush. I am at a point of using this software finally to want to reach out for feedback so I can improve my sculpting capabilities. I have lots of work to do in the anatomy department, but have found creature design to be something I have enjoyed. I am also in love with hard surface stuff but am having a hard time getting something i like in that style.
To give you a brief background on myself I work primarily in the abstract visual arts creating animations, music videos, loops etc. I VJ/perform live visuals and produce a lot of my own content, but have always had a back and forth relationship with Zbrush since I bought version 2 a while back. It never was something I was using all the time, but when version 3 came out, and all the following updates I just kept getting more and more into this piece of software. So much in fact I have been abandoning my other programs just to sculpt in zbrush. I am trying to learn as much as I can but am having fun just experimenting as well. My dream has always been to design characters for games, and this was always that “what if” job haha. I do not think I am anywhere near something like that (not without some formal 3D training) but I still am very interested in that field, and industry in general.
WOW. So this post turned into a mega rant haha. Below are some things I have made with it, and if you are interested in more random sketches I have some on my site along with my other non zbrush stuff. (sorry for ugly URL) Cheers! -> http://steveteeps.com/30810/1404443/visual-design/zbrush-sketchbook
