I’ve tried finding this info in both the press release and in this forum, but for some reason can’t seem to find it:
Is ZB4 optimized for 64 bit operating systems/hardware? also, can it utilize more than the 4GB of ram that its predecessors was constrained to?

for the record, i did go through the documentation and never found this. i dont’ know where in the doc it’s at, but i’m glad someone found it!

not that it seems to matter too much…ZB’s still a fantastic tool and i rarely if ever run out of memory on a model that i can’t break in to smaller pieces, but does anyone know if 64bit optimization and larger memory support are planned any time soon? seems a bit odd that ZB4 doesn’t support 64bit considering its release date. was it determined that it was going to take a major re-architecting of the code base to fully take advantage of 64bit and the benefits didn’t outweigh the possible draw backs or effort?
