Tasha Michaels - Created For A Book Cover

Hi everyone, and happy new year!

This is my first post on this forum. I’ve been watching from afar, but wanted to wait until my first WIP since I began learning Zbrush was complete. It finally is!

I wanted to create a 3D model of a character from a novel I published back in November. I introduce Tasha Michaels.

The background office was done using Blender, but I couldn’t get the perfect render of her in that program, so I just used the Blender render for the background, and the Zbrush render for her, and placed them together in Photoshop (with a bit of alteration on the lighting to make them match up a bit better).

I took the Genesis 3 model from Daz Studio, then found a skin I liked and wanted to play around with (mostly changing the face on that end), then altered her body and facial features entirely, in Zbrush, before giving her clothing using Marvelous Designer. Then I added fibermesh for her eyelashes, and hair.

I’m still a noob to this in every way, but I’m glad I was able to put together a project I’m incredibly proud of! Thanks for viewing!
