taking Texture/painted model into Maya

Having a problem once creating a displacement map in Zbrush I have tried to take it into Maya 8 but the mesh distorts and have tried most things Can anyone help or suggest a way round this…
The second problem is to paint the model and take the model into Maya…

Again any help or advice would be great…
