Tablet PC Custom Interface

I’ve been searching these forums for something related to this but haven’t really found any answers.
Last night I had installed Zbrush to a new tablet I had received. I was super excited that everything was working smoothly.
However I quickly found out my pen didn’t read the Wacom digitizer pressure and I cannot use Shift+pen dragging for Smoothing.
Nor can I use any buttons for that matter as the tablet doesn’t have buttons on the face to use such combinations.
Meaning I cannot Smooth, I cannot Mask off areas, cannot isolate locations, and so on.

I pulled up the digital keyboard and docked it, but it covers a good portion of the screen and unfortunately holding down shift or ctrl while dragging around doesn’t seem to work.

So the real question:
Is there a way to setup Smooth to a primary brush? Like how you can select Clay Buildup and use that tool, without having to hold down the Shift Key?
As well as the Masking ability, without holding Ctrl? …or Alt…never remember until I’m using the program.

I ended up trying out Sculptris, which is much more tablet friendly, but I’d like to use my copy of Zbrush instead.

Any ideas would be helpful, thanks!

There is an actual Smooth brush in the brush palette that you could use.

What tablet are you using? I have a Yiynova DP10 that works fine with ZBrush functions.

Right, there is a Smooth brush, but whenever you select it, it’ll tell you to use it by holding down the Shift key.
You can’t really do that with a tablet with no keys.
Is there a way to turn that off somehow?

Using a Asus Vivotab Note 8. Suits my needs.

editgoing to repost this with a different title…
