Nope that was it.
thanks
always feel free to ask.

Tomas,
Nice clean up on that last ring. The growing lines in those hard to reach areas are sometimes a pain to get out from the t66. They must have grown it on the highest resolution. Excelent work. Keep them coming.
it was a nightmare, i guess it took 18 hours to grow.
and I spent almost 2 days trying to get it clean.
I think I’m a generation or two of RP machine under $200,000 that will be able to produce castable pieces in the wall thickness that I need.
ohhh how I hope and prey some one will do it, but truly there arent many people that need the detail i do so my hopes are not hi.
thanks,
t
Yeah, your pieces seam like they would take that long to clean up. In the end it’s worth it though.
I know what you mean, but the detailed pieces are so much more interesting and cool. Every year the RP machines are getting better too. It’s just a matter of time. Keep up the hard work.
man… u jst mak me to inspire… if u don mind do u hav ny other jwellery type other than using skull?
DanasArt- thanks again
karysino - thank you. yes on the other pages are some floral elements you’ll see in comming parts and you can check out my site www.tswittelsbach.com and there are sections with no skulls. but most of the new non skull jewelry is comming in the next few months. I have to round out the lines before the end of the year.
thanks again,
tomas
I had a question if you don’t mind answering. Is your scroll work base mesh made with Zspheres or are they imported from another program?
Thanks
ur site was good… n espceially tat jaeger pendant was extraordinary one… ya wil b waitind for more other designs… ur jwellery items had some differnt look…
DanasArt- I use modo to do most my base meshes. the pen tool is god’s gift to block up, it you want I’ll upload some of those meshes so you can see.
karysino- thank you very much the jaeger is one of my favorites.
tsw
man i don know wthr im worth of giving u 5 stars… as b’coz im jst a beginner. but ny way 5 stars…
Tomas,
Sure, I’d love to see the meshes. I’m going to experiment and try with zspheres since I do not have modo and I’d like to practice and see what I can do. Your work is inspiring.
sure what format would you like to see?
by the way interesting designs, how do the inside patterns wear?
I some times get complaints about heavy text on the interior surface.
t
Maybe .obj at the base mesh level since you already showed the high level res at the beginning of this thread.
Thanks, I can interpret your question in two ways. The pattern does’nt wear on the inside as much as it would on the outside. As far as being comfortable, I wear one and I like the non smooth surface on my finger. I’m sure everyone is different.
I mainly do work for other people right now and I’m still developing my designs. Though I hope to eventually sell my designs and do less work for others, I don’t know if others like the feel of the inside design or not. I think that since the patterns are so close to one another and they go all the way around the band they don’t bother the finger as much as just a few words on the inside.
I’ll dig up images of the meshes and try to post tomorrow.
t
I’ve been watching this thread unveil itself since your first post TS and just want to offer my humblest thanks. You’ve inspired me to push many aspects of what I do further and I’ve initiated the research phase into prototyping methods and machines.
Thanks
BTW your jewelry looks like it was made by alien hands
maybe it is…
thanks for the compliments they are much appreciated.
t
I have some other new things but i cant find the pics, I’ll post soon.
t
Nice work. You’re like the ZBrush filigree king.
Hi mr. T.S.Wittelsbach you´ve demonstrated that you are a real master in jewelery design. I hope to see new stuff from you. Is really inspirative.
One question (or two):
01.- The rings have been milled in several pieces, isn´t it? How do you put them together, with melted wax as glue?
02.- Do you have any problems with these complex shapes when you are making the silicon mould?
03.- Do you make all this by hand at home one by one or you take the wax prototype to a lost wax professional to do the wax tree and all the stuff?
As you see i´ve been searching for documentation about this . I´d love to be capable of doing works so gret as yours.
