The lamp is very nice!

i have to redesign the head… while working on it i decided on different functionality. I want it to have a linear story in the projection so i have to plan the the projection bowl differently.
so it will travel as the LEDs transition

It’s great news that you update your forum thread with new works! I love your sense of design! Cat-clown-astronaut is an interesting character, I like how the different textures works in the transitions of elements, did you use polygroups, or only the sculpt tools? Great work!

chooj - thank you very much, if i remember right i did start with zmodeler on this one

and something fun the head spikes i did for Samppa are out.

ok a sneekpeak at me homage to the Noguchi made by Herman Miller, a mid-century masterpiece.
my friend is from the family that started Herman Miller and we were talking about my rocking chair it turned to how much we both loved the table.
the conversation ended in the decision to create an updated version of the classic that would go with the rocking chair.
as a reminder for those who dont know the table

I love big 3d printers…

From Jewellery to furniture. fantastic work. would love to see the finished piece - Top Row for sure. :+1:

c4th- thanks a million, as a sculptor it’s all just sculpting to me. that’s whats so great about zbrush and modern prototyping. you can make it any size. yay

DougE - if I’m not mistaken it’s was one on the big 3d systems machine, i can find out wen i talk to metalphysic (the foundry I’m using)

Do you know what 3d printer they used to print that large object?

What resolution did you print at?
