Good show. I’m a ceramic designer. I have a serious focus on producing a haute line of high fired bone quality porcelien jewlery designs.

This is for radical wax manipulation. I dare say you are up the line from me. You are doing a great job- Mitch

I am so bad about keeping up with the new work…
here are a couple pieces i think you guys will like.

the mermaid piece is the ring I made for Paul Gabory Zbrush book ZBrush Professional Tips and Techniques. http://www.amazon.com/ZBrush-Professional-Tips-Techniques-Gaboury/dp/1118066804/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1338426370&sr=8-1
Its Palladium with a 30ct electric purple amethyst and diamonds

The skull is showing at the Palladium Alliances Couture booth at JCK this weekend.
It is Pallidium, Rose gold, with 220 black and white diamonds
they were produced with the great help & craftsmanship of Elise McKinney and SungWoo Hong here at Greenlake Jewelery Seattle

more to come soon I promise

You have to upload the attachment using the attachments button below the post, and once it’s uploaded and selected, click “Post Inline”.

That said, I’ve had it post them as thumbnails anyways, even using the same system before- and had to go in and delete the images/re upload them to get them to work. I have no idea what causes this to occur.

In my haste to answer your question, I forgot to mention: Outstandingly beautiful work. It’s so clean and perfect. I am envious of your abilities friend!

thank you and thank you
very helpful.

Mr T Great as usual… One question… What are you using to keep this fine detail… Digital Wax or machining… I don’t seem to be winning with Jewellery guys in Southern Africa… either they find that we ZBrush users are not trained for the job or they talk about detail being lost… I am now going to try the Shapeway guys, as I have a lot of work as to Military Jewellery, but I don’twant to spend hours on detail just to loose it in the end… all my work will be in Silver…

Like the addition of the gems in your work, you place them to add to the design and not dominate the design… can’t wait to see more… you have inspired me…

I am off to a Jewellery show in Windhoek today or capital in Namibia… but I don’t think this will be anything near your work…

Keep em coming…

Kind Regards
Ziggy

Amazing work to make jewels, it should be rewarding to see your sculpts with some diamonds

Your workflow is very interesting, the craftsman use your sculpt as reference by using images and turn around or is the process more like a 3D print ?

While I LOVE your sugar skull ring I still think the most famous skull ring, the Keith Richards skull ring, is the best.

To me, less is more.

Sigmund - thanks, yes detail is the mother… I usually grow the pieces in photo silver or mill them. if you grom them in PS you have to make a mold and use the hidef waxing process. then the investment is very important. if you need help email me @ [email protected] and i will try to hook you up with what you need. best luck on your showing.

Corosion - thanks it is appreciated. its’ awesome working with greenlake jewelry now, I dream things up that I couldn’t possibly produce alone and we put a team on it and make it happen wait did i mention its awesome

it’s also an great to be in Paul’s book now tons of people will see the work.

some more images to look at…

new ring and some glasses that will be in aluminum
