Thank you for your comment. You are right with the eyes but I think it makes him a bit more pleasant.

It started with a sculpting for the sculpt january challange. Unfortunately, time will not allow me to contribute to this challenge any longer.
So I decided to make something presentable out of the unfinished sculptings in my sparetime.

A little speedsculpt(4h) of an older goblin, sculpted entirely without symmetry on. Very funny to do.

I made some NPR experiments at the time so tried my goblin with some custom MatCaps and a bit of Photoshop postpro.

Everything is so expressive!

its awesome , really cool

Thank you both!

Another imaginative portrait sculpting I did just for fun. Accidently he looked a little bit like Peter Cushing in profile, that wasn’t intentionaly.

Nice character work. I appreciate the way you have figured out a way to sculpt hair throughout all of these. Very rewarding solutions and a pleasure to look at!

@Artbot
Thank you very much!

Recently I’ve made some head sculptings just for fun.

Two years ago we finished our animated short movie ‘Monju Hunters of S?fugan Island’.

The film is a co-production with my friend Karim Eich. We finished the project in fall 2016 after 1,5 years of hard work.
It’s my master thesis at Bauhaus University Weimar.

You can watch the movie now online on:

www.monjuhunters.com

The ship is based on my early concept art but I changed the direction of the design during the long process.
If you are also interested in the design process of the ship or the other parts of this world, please take a look on my Artstation at:
https://www.artstation.com/dirkwachsmuth

The design is inspired by artists like Takayuki Takeya, Kow Yokoyama and Ian McQue.

All modelling was made with ZBrush. I’ve made the textures with Substance Painter and Photoshop.

The final movie was rendered in Blender Cycles.

The following images were rendered in Marmoset Toolbag 3
