symmetry texturing problem

Hi! I’ve got a problem - I’ve textured one hand of my model and I’m wondering if I can fast texture the second hand - this model is symmetrical and mapped with GUV tiles… It’s hard to texture the second hand again … Can i make it faster? :slight_smile:

Use ZAppLink. You can send your model to Photoshop, then copy, mirror and/or clone from one side to the other.

I’ve used Zapplink, but to texture the second hand perfectly i have to send it thru zapplink more than 6-7 times, so it takes much time … Can I amke it faster ?:slight_smile:

If I knew of something faster, I would have suggested it. :stuck_out_tongue:

couldn’t you clone the model, select only the hand, mirror it, store a morph target, projectall, then with morph brush with RBG off and only Zadd on, paint out the deformation(if you like). there by transferring the polypaint? i’ve done this a few times already.
