I’m new to digital modeling and have recently picked up ZBrush. Unfortunately, I am experiencing a problem that occurs during every start-up of a project I attempt. The best way to describe what’s happening is the symmetry is losing its centering. For example, if I attempt to move the “ankle” of my work, the second circle (which should be maneuvering the opposing ankle), grabs some random area outside of the model instead. As a result, the second ankle will not move whatsoever despite my symmetry’s activation.
Adding ZSpheres presents a similar problem. If I attempt to add to one side, the opposing side’s circle will be far from where it should be, causing a much taller zsphere on that side. It will appear something like his:
< l >>
The left is my addition of a Zsphere. The right is how the “symmetrical” zsphere is added. That is, extended far off from where it should be.
Not sure if I am explaining this well. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
