Hoi.
Activating poseable symmetry:
It has been said that when using poseable symmetry, models should be topologically symmetrical. I have used poseable symmetry only one time succefully. Dont know was that just lucky time or what, but now when trying to do simple models and trying to use poseable symmetry with them, it always sais “Symmetry result:xxx% Symmetry points____. Symmetry map was not stored.”. These simple models was created by different techniques,
like straight Zsphere-Adaptive Skin, Edit topology, New topology and what else. When checking the topology, it always looks and it is topologically symmetrical. And they arent multi axis symmetrical like balls or cubes. Noticed once that when subdividing model, it losed symmetry results every single sibdiv time. So what is going wrong?
Geometry HD symmetry:
The one time when got poseable symmetry to work, there was needs for hd subdivs. Model was allready posed, because didnt know that there could be needs for hd sculpting. Model got its hd subdivs, but they werent in symmetry because of the pose. Is the model losed for symmetrical hd sculting, or is there somekind of candy button, where its possible to restore the orginal pose? Allways before doing poses, should the models orginal pose been stored somehow?
