This starts to drive me nuts. During sculpting my sculpt jumps to ‘fit mesh to view’ (my sculpt becomes full frame).
-While I’m sculpting, and using ‘alt’ to remove clay, it jumps to fit frame. I find this very annoying, I keep on zooming out, but over and over again it keeps on jumping back while I’m sculpting. What’s the solution?
The F hotkey will Frame your visible geometry. Perhaps you’re accidentally hitting the F key.
No, not at all. It happens somehow when I’m lifting my pen while my finger is still on ‘alt’, so I release my pen from my wacom, still holding the ‘alt’ key, and then it switches to ‘fit mesh to view’.
In 3.5 , the alt-click allows you to quickly recenter the mesh.
The “Click Time” and “Click Distance” modifiers - in the preferences/interface sub palette - allows you to customize the sensitivity of this function. If need be, you may also disable this function by setting both values to minimum.
Thank you! I’m a happy sculptor again.
