Switching between materials/shaders

Hi! When everything is default then I can switch between shaders and RGB-colors are updated directly on my tool, but when I have used “Fill Object” using one of the shaders (ex. MatCap White Cavity) then I can’t switch between different shaders anymore? I then have to use “Fill object” for all shaders to see the change on my tool.

How do I make it work like the default tool again, so that I can switch between colors and materials without having to use “Fill Object”?

you have to use “fill object” with the Flat Color shader applied.
This will remove any shader information and let you swap materials by selecting them again.
