Switch between tools

Hi:

I am new to Zbrush and this seems to be a really simple question but I cannot figure how to do this (forgive me if I am not using the correct terminology):

I draw a sphere on the screen and then I draw a cone. The cone is the “active” tool and I can edit it. How do I “switch” to the sphere so I can edit that tool.
