wow, let me be first to say , that that is AMAZING looking.
That woman looks amazingly detailed down to the strands in the hair!!!
2nd off let me ask you a question. The hair, how did you go about doing it? Im working with max 8 now so the new hair modifier is a strange new thing right now
Im at a point with a character I am currently working on where Im adding hair (But since my model is game realted, im not sure how to go about it other than flat planes off the head with texture/alphas)
But even still the skin and lips and everything just look…well one word…
AWESOME~!
Awesome… those hairs look great
Great work!She has a really sweet looking…
But there’s something wrong when the hair fall down along the neck.Look at the contrast between fibers and ear skin or with the white background.Don’t you think that’s strange?
Anyway,great work freind
IN THE WILD LANDS
ALIEN FACE HUGGER
MattHHH
Great look!
…though if you modeled a more recent version of her, you would’nt need the hair;)
It compliments Maxedwin. What you have used in order to create hats? Hello Lucasmall_orange_diamond
small_orange_diamond
thx everyone
it wouldn’t be fun to make her short hair hehe…
the hair creation is very simple actually, the rendering what makes it hard…my pc isnt strong enough that I had to divide into 4 renders and combine using photoshop, and each render can take up to 1 hour…And since we dont know what it will look like on render, it can be very time wasting
so, its better to just draw the hair if you only want to make one still image
anyway, I updated the image, lots of tweaks…
Maxedwin: I’ve been following this thread (well, the other one…LOL) for a few days. I love the look of this gal. The skin shader is awsome and your modeling is tight and clean. Excellent piece, Bro…
Dickie
yeah maxedwin-dude, your gal has so much personality, she is so FUN-tastic… I like it very, very much Thank you for sharing so cool and special work
Really congratZZZ, it has to be in TOPROW, imho…
Great job on this so far! Modeling is accurate and just enough SSS to make it look like skin and not a wax figure. My only crit might be the hair towards the bottom on how it looks pixelated and sharp. A minor problem easily fixed in Photoshop after rendering by various means (Median filter or very slightly smudging it in the direction of the flow of the hair). That small little detail was the only thing that kept me from believing that the hair was real. Great work!
Awesome work maxedwin, am only just starting out in Zbrush & your work is very inspirational.
Will definately continue to follow thread.
I updated the picture, hope you like it
Pilou
Is that a Natalie Portman with a wider face. Did you make, and pull a Portman model scaled wider on the cheekbones? It looks like her a lot, but the face, and cheeks are just a bit too wide.
thx for all the comments
here is another update
It’s almost done I guess :)…what do you guys think?
she is very beautiful and very realistic. wow X 10…
She reminds me of one of my daughters friends that comes around the house. The skin work is simply amazing.
Definitely gets my vote for the top row
Excelente, muy guapa y natural.
It’s really really good. Photorealistic by any standard. There is a great deal to admire. Four subtle things occur to me as odd, so you may choose to consider or ignore these in terms of whether they were intentional or not.
There appears to be a line marking the transition between the brow and the forehead. A texture boundary perhaps?
The right side of the nose appears angular, google kryton / red dwarf.
The way specularity concentrates above the girls left eyebrow suggests an unnatural intersection, bump or mound, this may be in the geomotry or as an artifact from the light.
The ears tragus and anti-tragus are small and the concha undefined so that to my eye the ear speaks of a cavern. I’ve not studied Natalies ears so it may be this may be exactly what you wanted.
Apologies to rest on the these aspects, you’ve created/recreated something/someone that is very beautiful.
thx for the comments
I fixed the spec issue, I don’t know about the line…the last one was because of clumsy composing hehe. If it’s still there, then I don’t know whats wrong.
Havent touch the nose and ears yet…
anyway here is the frontal view if you want to see (without blurring). Hair is quite troubling…I spent around the same time creating the hair as I spent creating the rest lol, so go easy .
i think making a realistic 3d hair is really really hard, if you don´t work at weta digital or ILM. yours look quite good.
