So I made an SVG of my logo imported it into Zbrush 2018 and as expected the basic topology is pretty horrendous (as it is my first time attempting to do this). I’ve tried to zremesh it but its blowing out a lot of the detail on the letter forms in the word “DESIGN.” I was using default settings with the text/svg zplugin and was really winging it with the zremesher settings. Thought I could stumble upon it myself but I’m not getting anywhere. Any help is greatly appreciated in advance.
So my questions are:
I created my SVG in Adobe Illustrator and did a save as with the default SVG settings too. Do I need to make adjustments there or does that not matter?
Is there a better way to get cleaner topology to play with from an imported SVG? I attached a screen shot of the vector graphic and the mesh that I’m getting from it with poly frame turned on.
