SURTR - God Of War Fanmade - Artside Graduation Project

Hi everyone!
I am pleased to share with you my last character made during my training at Artside game art school. This is my graduation project.
As a passionate of anatomy, I wanted to focus on this one and that’s why I didn’t use any basemesh.
Motivated by my love of the game God Of War, the work of Rafael Gassetti, Glauco Longhi and Dela Longfish. I wanted to pay tribute to their work.
That’s why I asked my friend François Arnaud ( https://www.artstation.com/francoisarnd ) to work together on a concept of Surtr (character from the Norse mythology).
François did an excellent job. He listened to me and took into account all my feedback to come up with this concept: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/QnLz9d

For the 3D production, I set myself constraints corresponding to the game God Of War in terms of polycount, number of defined textures, etc…
I had a lot of fun working on this project.
