I am working on a project in which detail is very important so I decided to use Zbrush to create some normal and displacement maps.
I am having some problems with the surface menu.
I create the type of noise I want to use, which looks great, and then I apply it to the mesh. The problem is that the quality of the noise once it has been applied decreases.
I have tried to increase subdivisions, make better uvs, work with Geometry HD but the result is not good enough.
Is there any way I can achieve the same noise quality as before applying the noise to the mesh?
