This is my first post. I have been learning zbrush for about 5 months now and cant believe how awsome it is. Ive been modeling for about 6 years but never really had time to get into zbrush. The work on this site has inspired me to learn it. thanks. I made my childhood hero superman for my first project. xsi base mesh. Please critique.

Looks good so far, but I think you can shrink his head a bit. It’s looks way too big for his body. I think if you narrowed his face a little bit, it would help him not look too full in the face, such as moving his lower jaw bones in a little. Plus, the way his underwear is attached to his belts looks a bit odd as well.
Still, it’s way better than what I can do. 
Pros: good job of showing what a spandex(or similar material) stretched across the body looks like. It doesnt hug every knook and cranny or show every rippling muscle. The materials look pretty good too. Stylisticly the redesign on the belt and symbol are fine, but the underwear loops/belt interaction does look a tab weird because the loops dont go all the way over the top edge.
Cons: head is too big, hands arent big enough. Ears look off, the bottom of the ear lobe should be closer to the head. Face could use a little work on proportion and placement.
Thanks for the input. Hard to tell when you are looking at the same thing for so long. As for the belt and underwear i just wanted to make his suit a little more alien being from another planet and all.
