I loved this version of Super Mario as an aged mobster looking guy that I found by the artist Anthony Jones, so I used it to brush up on my sculpting skills. It was fun doing a stylized sculpt! Also, my first serious polypainting and first attempt at compositing different material and lighting setups straight out of ZBrush.
Totally rules!!, lovee the concept and the sculpt! kind of a very elegant version of mario! that’s great!!

I may try to using more diffuse materials - right now everything has a uniform specularity because I derived the spec from the basic grey material. This is especially apparent on the shirt and leather straps…
