Suggestion: Folders

FOLDERS PLEASE
Here is a suggestion for organizing subtools within a ztool.
Often I have to work on a sculpt with MANY subtools, -over 50. This
becomes very cumbersome to try and move quickly through the subtool list to hide certain objects in order to work on another while other areas need to stay visible as well for judging overall balance.

For example:
I am working on a suit of armor of some sort. The arm has 20 subtools. I have to turn off all 20 subtools manually if I only want the rest of the figure to show. This is very time consuming.
Why not have the ability to arrange certain subtools into folders?
Then, when I want to see just those armor pieces it is one click, or the same to hide them.
This is important because each arm will have 20 subtools, each leg, and so on. That is a lot to sort through.
Folders would be a life saver.

Any suggestions should be created as a support ticket in the “Feature Suggestions” department at http://support.pixologic.com.

You will most likely not receive a response, but your suggestion will be catalogued for reference as the development team plans for the future.

YES, FOLDERS PLEASE!!! Its a basic thing that makes life so much easier. I’m not trying to compare zBrush to other programs, but every other program has folders, and there is a reason for that. It makes using the program so much easier and less frustrating. ZBrush is ment to free the artist, but if you have to spend half your time hiding and unhiding then you are constricting the artist.

Just my 2 cents.
