I’m using zbrush on daily basis and have been thinking about this on couple occasions. I’d like to see zbrush update with subtool palette that has parenting capability. To describe it: I have a subtool of a model, say, a robot arm, where I’d be able to add parts of that robot arm to that subtool as a child objects. Further more, I would like to be able to customize pivot for each object/subtool and position is exactly where I want, manually or even some other way. This would make certain tasks in zbrush easier to do. And would enable for some interesting opportunities in animating models.
Also as a side note, the pivot information would be cool if it can be exported with the obj to the 3rd party apps.
