Subtools Problem - Can't select main

Hi, I’m a total newbie into zbrush, and Im having some trouble with subtools, I don’t know if this is normal or is a bug that only Im experiencing since I was unable to find an answer anywere.
The problem is, I can’t select the main subtool, ex. If my mesh have 2 subtools and I select the first one, it automatically move down to the last subtool. The same issue happens on every model that came with Zbrush.

hey hang in there zbrush has a very steep learning curve i still have problems with subtool options
but try this load the tool that u want then make sure it is in edit and draw mode and also selected in bottom subtool bar .
