subtool switch hotkey problem

Hi guys,

By default the hotkey to switch from one subtool to another is to ctrl+shift click on a subtool on the canvas. this is also the same hotkey to unhide hidden polygons on a mesh. many of my studenst get frustrated when they are first learning Zbrush because whenever they unhide polygons they accidentally switch to another subtool. I can have them hide all subtools while working but this makes life a little difficult when working with imagePlaneX or imageCube tools as reference objects. is there a way to change this behavior? I know that you can chnge hotkeys interactively using the control button but thsi doesn’t work whne there is no button to press. Any suggestions?

This is something that is hard-coded into ZBrush and cannot currently be modified.

Switch on Polyframes (Shift+F) and subtool transparency (Transform>Activate). Switching on subtool transparency makes it quite difficult to select the subtools using Ctrl+Shift+click. With polygroup colouring on it is easier to see where the current visible mesh portion is.
