Subtool Question

Is there a way to collapse multiple subtools into one? I broke a sculpt into subtools to get at certain areas, but at some point I will want them all as one.

One method I am thinking of trying involves exporting it as an obj and then reimporting it. The problem is I will lose the lower subdiv levels which I need for the actual game model. I may get around that by appending and projecting all. This may work, but if there is a better more straightforward method I’d rather try that.

do exaclty what you’re thinking. You need to split them, sculpt them, generate normals, export out the new obj then re attach everything in whatever other program you’re using.

Try looking at Subtool Master.
That can merge subtools into one
