Subtool Mirroring

Whenever you see eyes on a sculpted character, the sphere ztool has been mirrored across an axis. How is this done? I can’t get the sphere to mirror without it stretching one way or the other.

Append one eye. Use TransPose and/or the Deformations to move and scale it into position. Then press Tool>Clone to copy the SubTool. Select the new tool and Mirror it. Now select the eye SubTool again and use Tool>Geometry>InsertMesh to merge in the cloned and mirrored eye.
