subtool master mirroring problem

Hello,

I am having this weird problem with mirroring a subtool using subtool master. I have a left arm which is sculpted and I want to mirror it to the right side with all the subdiv levels. I select the left arm in the subtool, go to subtool master, then select mirror with merge into same subtool on. The mirroring happens and the final result is the highest subdiv level BUT I lose all the lower subdiv levels. This is not the case if I mirror them as separate subtools but I want them to be one subtool only. I tried merging them together but again I lose all the subdiv levels. Can anyone help me out on this one pls.

I just checked the forums here and got a solution which asks to Reconstruct Subdiv Levels but that isn’t working either.
