SubTool Master - Merge Function

Hi.

I have used the Merge function to combine 3 subtools with a master tool for some global deformations and now I would like to break the model back into a master tool with 3 subtools. How do I do this? If I use ‘Group Split’ in the Subtool Subpalette it automatically assigns ‘Master Tool’ status to one of the subtools.

Thanks!

~S.~

After using Group Split, do this:

  1. Move the subtool that you want to be ‘master’ up to second-from-top position using the move up arrow in the Tool>SubTool submenu. (You can’t move it all the way to the top.)

  2. Duplicate the existing top subtool by using SubTool Master’s ‘Duplicate’ function. The duplicate will be added to the end of the subtool list.

  3. Select the top subtool again and delete it. The second subtool will become the new ‘master’.

HTH,

Thanks, Marcus! Hey, is SubTool Master integrated into 3.5 or will it remain a plug-in? ~S.~
