I have a problem where if I bring an object into zb I can see from the preview window that the pivot point is fine and centered.
But if I append this into a subtool I have (ie a character) it looses the pivot point and smart resym doesn’t work. Using s. pivot etc in zb isn’ t working either to fix this and get resym working.
Smart resym will work on the original object I bring in but when added to the subtool won’t. I’m using max 2009 and have double checked the geo, all fine.
Of course I could work on the object seperately but this is a bit of a pain as you kind of want to see the whole model come together? It also seems to happen completely at random.
anyone have any ideas or had any experience of this?
