Subtool is see-through

Hey gang, I’m working on a fairly simple cartoon-style model, but when I import one of the obj files as a subtool, it becomes see through. You can see the back half of the subtool, but the front half is just not there. Has anyone had this issue before and is there a solution? My normals are pointing the right way in Maya. I’ve tried re-importing, but that does no good.

It’s not see through…it’s inside-out! :stuck_out_tongue:

You can flip the normals
tool>display properties>flip

do it on the lowest subD, and only have the faces you want to flip visible
