Subtool border issue

Having problems to work on extracted subtools with some brushes as the inflat or magnify brush on ZB 4.0 (MAC):

  • Draw a sphere and make it a polymesh 3D
  • mask some area
  • extract a subtool of that area
  • set focus to the new subtool
  • work on the subtool using inflat brush:

-ZB 3.2 : I can work on the whole subtool without any problems
>>>BUT
-ZB 4.0 : The brush only inflates a border region, while the middle area stays untouched.

Did I miss something?

EDIT: Seems the mask is transfered to the subtool… this is visible only in the thumbnail in the subtool palette

zb3.5 does that too. Once I got used to it, I liked how it let me smooth the edge without touching the rest of the extract until I was ready.
