Subdivision problem...

hello there.
In 3d max i made an object and apply chamfer to all edges. Then apply Meshsmooth(nurms method) with 2 subd.
Export this to Zbrush and try to reconstruct lower subd level - not working. There is no holes and triangles. This feature
with reconstructing is working very seldom.

But a question- after applying Divide in Zrush my topology ( from 3d max) is smoothing and when, i export back to 3d max, edges become not so sharp as they were before. How to freeze chamfer on the edges and preserve distance between them.?

When dividing in ZBrush the mesh is smoothed uniformly. To avoid the mesh being smoothed at all you need to turn off the Tool>Geometry>Smt button.

Alternatively, you can crease some of the edges to maintain the shape. This is simplest if you have defined polygroups. You can then use the Tool>Geometry>Crease PG button to crease the polygroup borders.

Thx for answer, but turning off smt button is not a good way in my case.
Making polygroups will take me too much time.
I’m looking for some kind of freezing my chamfered edges, not all topology.
