I’m doing a tutorial on Plural Sight (use to be Digital Tutors). During one stage they ask you to add several sudivisions (ctrl +D) in order to paint a detail mask. It worked the first time around. I went back later to redo the tutorial, but the Sudiv (Geometry menu) is grayed out. When I hit Crt +D on the keyboard it just changes the cursor to mask mode. I tried Make Polymesh 3D, but that did not work. I also closed out the file, and reloaded the tool, but that did not help as well. I’m wondering if I turned on some type of item with a hot key.
In the following screenshot. There is a button when the mouse hovers over it, it’s “Gizmo 3D Y”. It’s grayed out, and even when I reopen the software it’s like that. Could this be causing an issue with being able to subdivide?
