After Studying a lot anatomy, I decided to challenge myself during my freetime to reproduce the best I could my favourite sculpture from Bernini. I just wanted to do the sculpt and 3D printing, but couldn’t resist and decided to do the texturing, and most of all the marmoset viewer. I hope this real time viewer will help people to understand better this statue as some references and angles were difficult to find.
I share more pictures and steps in the blog part of artstation if you want to see more the in depth, the challenges, the fails etc of the project.

Nice scukpt @hakaeon, print came out well with some minimal sanding…what printer did you use and how long did it take it to print?
Jaime
Hello Jaime, Thanks for the compliment.
The print is 22cm high and around 10x10 for the sides. It took 1day and 11h at a layer 0.2height and nozzle 0.4mm on a creality cr10s pro. I’m sure it can be improved, I printed it with too much supports but dont know how to make good custom supports. Also I’m a beginner in 3D printing and the picture show the model without any retouch, no sanding or anything, I just remooved the supports.
This one was with wood filament, and I tried an other with Marble filament:
Looks fantastic, and thanks for posting your pre-print breakdown.
