Brilliant work Steve, your sweat really shows with this one man.
Love the texturing especially. Was he textured in ZBrush/ZAppLink
workflow, or more traditional UV to PhotoShop method?

I love this guy!

Woody:

Some part of the texture is made in zbrush with zapp links.
More for seam, but, Yanick use more photoshop to found the great pass.

Some details is add on 3d painting in pass with zbrush.

The model is done in xsi, but I use Zbrush to found the great shape and all of the fine details.

Good

this is insane

woooow! that’s creepy! I love it!
congrats

hey man !
its great…Superb !
theres a question about number of polys, how you can animate it ! its a new technology ?
5 star from me

Very very nice! I haven’t worked with XSI for awhile now … makes me wanna revive the skills. I was curious about the zbrush export … is it a displacement?
I am amazed at the detail that it generated. Is it possible to view the base mesh wireframe before you imported the displacement (if that is what it is, of course).
I am quite impressed … congrats!

awesome piece here. the model , texture , lighting and render are fantastic! it isn’t comped at all? was it mental ray with xsi?

very cool work dude

fantastic!

Really great!..Very nice…

 Good after noon all!!!

I give some response at your answer!

For other comment and interrogation mail me at [email protected]

ZippZopp:

yes all of my work is made with mental ray!

Mahpiya and skulll_monster:

At this time is just a still frame, no animation, no rigging, the modement is made with the radial blur and motion blur in photoshop. When I made a picture like photo, I don’t really like to use Displacement, I like to use full resolution mesh, all the detail is in the mesh. With this technique you have more control and the render is most faster. For animation, I transfert the shading and the maps on a mid rez model and I apply displacement for maximun effect.

For build a great image, you need a good partership with the texturer, many details is most faster and easyer to uptail in texture!

Thank’s all for your support! The only thing is, im not alone in this beatiful image, my friend Yanick Gaudreau is the Magician!! He work at Hybride with me.

:+1:

Again, it’s amazing!!!

Lon (CNAD)

wow very nice stubi!

I have a newbie question… in the picture of the first post with the blurryness, is that what is called depth of field?
