I’m guessing this is probably a simple answer for some. I am trying to create a ribbed collar that you see on a standard tshirt and am having trouble drawing it out with the Roll option enabled on the stroke. Is there any way to have the alpha I’m using start at the edge of the alpha and roll rather than the center? Basically what is happening is as I draw out the stroke in a circular fashion around the opening of the neck, the pattern starts to cross over itself which I don’t want.

Any advice or a different approach to this would be greatly appreciated.

I’d love to know some better ways to use the roll features as well. It’s fine in a straight line, but it doesn’t reshape itself well to a curved or hook shaped path.
