Is it possible to stoke along the edge of a mask. I need a nice straight seam lengthwise around an upholstered chair arm.
Thanks for your help in advance!

yes…and no. you can go to tool>visiblilty>hide pt. create an edge loop…if you’re working on a LP object.
if you’re working on a high subD level you can hide pt again…make a polygroup, grow that geometry (probably need to hit this a couple of times to get the thickness you want), hide the first polygroup you made and then make another polygroup of those new visible polygons, you can then perform an inflate deformation on the new polygroup. You can also perform a smoothing operation on the area. Or you can mask the seam you just made, and blur that mask so you won’t end up with such a hard edge during the inflate
Thanks so much! Now that I read your response, I realize I did a very poor job explaining what I need.
I made a stitch brush that looks like a french seam. That is what I need to run around the chair arm and seat cushions.
Try this and see if it works for you. See picture.

That is exactly what I need but It need to make a nice line all the way around a 3D mesh where the re is on this sketch.
