Strifes Sketch and finished art!!!

Hello I go by the name of strife. I am a Tattoo Artist currently living in Tokyo, Japan(Not Japanese though) Anyways I am trying to break into the CG industry as I am trying to move back to the states. Anyways I have been using Zbrush and 3d max to create most of my CG images. I would like to start off with something I just finished recently. Please enjoy. Sorry I was really quick about introducing myself last night. I was extremely tired and it was really late. Anyways I wanted to say I really havent posted any of my own artwork on this site. So I figured I would give it a try. Everything on this site is GREAT!!! The artist here are extremely talented so I hope I can keep up and contribute. As I said I am a tattoo artist and also a freelance graphic artist. But I really love CG. I am trying to break into the CG field back in the states so I have been killing myself getting my portfolio and reel ready. I did have formal training in 3d modeling and animation… Back in 96 and 97. So things are a bit different now. But I am coming to grips again. Anyways. This next model was a older model that I completed last year but I am updating it with the new skills thatI have learned so far. Enjoy and have a good one!!! More to come!!!

Hello all!!! Tough site as for as comments and the rating system. Wow 2 stars!!! BUT I wouldnt have it any other way. Only way to improve and stay motivated!!!A lot of you guys are sooo talented I can see why. I actually wanted to apologize as I didnt realize the size of my images are really big so I will try and fix that as soon as I get a chance to resize them. Anyways I have Freddy wip polypainting. I just realized that I completely hate his sweater so I am going to remodel that. Other than that enjoy. More to come!!!

Well I had a nice short in a cable and fried my system HD. Luckly I back things up constantly. But still lost alot of momentum. Well I am back with a very small update. But one none the less. Almost there with this one. Enjoy!!

As some of you are aware Japan had a earthquake over a month ago. I havent really been doing much art for a bit as I have been dealing with that situation. Well things in Tokyo are getting back to normal and so is my hunger for art. So here you go more stuff. Enjoy and let me know what you think. Some of this is WIP more coming soon!!)

Hello, I have been here on a off for a good while. I finally have some time to really sit down and work on my portfolio. I am moving back to the USA from japan in 2 months. So I am going to take this time to really dig in. Any pointers tips and comments are what I am looking for. I decided to put things in this old tread of mine to mark my progress. Hello all I wanted to add a little something more. Just finished it today. Ill post some wireframes up soon but I wanted to do my favorite childhood comic character. Enjoy!!! Let me know what you think!!! Done with Zbrush, 3d max, and Topogun
