!!strange!! Uv Problem! Please Help!!

Hi All
I Have Just Finished Sculpting A Jacket For A Character Im Creating! So I Then Go To Genarate A Normal Map As You Do! But The Map Genarated Is One Big Purple Texture! So I Figure It Must Be A Uv Problem! Any Way I Narrow The Issue Down To The Fact That My Imported Obj Has Perfect Uvs But As Soon As I Subdivide The Geometry And Do A Uv Check There Ruined! I Get A Massive Red Square Over Half My Uvs!!! Im Now Officialy Fresh Out Of Ideas! Please Help.

It sounds like your model has UV’s that go outside the 0,0 to 1,1 range. You’ll need to remap the model so that all the UV’s are inside the UV space. Make sure to put a little padding around the edges of the map, too.
