Strange double fake mesh when in windowed mode

Hello, I have looked all over and can not find this issued being discussed anywhere, I have tried multiple graphics drivers and reinstalling zbrush 4R2 many times now with the same problem.

This seems to occur when I change from full to windowed mode its like the graphics buffer is not clearing properly for some odd reason.
even when i turn off the subtools the back fake one is still there.

everything looks fine until i start moving the camera or zooming
then this happens

This is driving me nuts I need to have zbrush in windowed mode to quickly switch between other application windows.

Has anyone seen this sort of thing happen before or know what could be causing it? its impossible to work this way.
