I’ve got a troublesome ZTool the insists on remaining nearly black in the viewport. I’ve tried using Subtool Master to fill it with a light material (matcap and traditional) and a light color. There is some effect, but it remains unreasonably dark, as though it were covered by a strong masking layer. New textures, polypaint, all just show up really, really dark. Any ideas?
Can you tell us ‘how you got there’? Maybe post the .ztl file.
Try this:
- With your model in Edit mode, turn off Edit.
- Make sure the Rgb Intensity slider (at the top of the UI or in the Draw palette) is set to 100. Also check that the Mrgb button is on.
- Turn Edit back on.
