Hi Guys,
Today I am going to share a personal project which was there in my mind for a very long time. This is a character from the bengali poem ‘Khichuri’ written by the great poet and writer Sukumar Roy. Sukumar Roy was known for writing nonsense which actually had a very important inner meaning. Actually I grew up with these poems from the book ‘Aboltabol’ . I am also writing the poem, in case you are interested to read !
There are many characters in this poem. All the characters are mixture of different animals, birds and reptiles. I have started with one character and have plans to do the rest in upcoming days. I believe these characters are best fit for sculptures
Here is the Final Render of the character ‘Stortle’ , an imaginary fusion of a Stork and a Turtle. I have added a broccoli and a fish to the character to show the dilemma regarding their different choice of food.
