Storm's zdoodles

Such wonderful work.

In the gruff toadsome caricature in the jacket and shirt created in zbrush or modified from a mesh created elsewhere?

I’m curious because I’m new to ZB4 and wonder whether this kind of crisp mesh styling is now much more achievable than it was in say version 2 which I have been using up until today. Are the cloths based on mesh extracted forms derived from under shapes etc or by other means?

@Darukin
Thanks a ton man! So glad you like it :wink:

@rodion vlasov
Thanks bud!

@JoseConseco
Thank you! I’ve tried sculptris and I really like it, I did like 4 scultures in it some time ago:

Thanks man, I’m really glad you like my work! :smiley:
Unfortunately the clothing wasn’t done in zbrush, but maya, I can’t think of an easy way to do something like that in zbrush.
However, hard-surfaces are definitely achievable in zbrush, a prime example here: http://www.zbrushcentral.com/showthread.php?t=106933
But for clothing I would definitely just do it a modeling app.

Thank you Frederik for your reply as well as the further link to such a fine example of creating hard surfaces in ZBrush.

An artist should always finds the most relaxed and intuitive method to be playful in their creativity - these are qualities that shine in your work.

Any suggestions or crit on the scales would be awesome!

The main alpha I used can be found here: http://www.zbrushcentral.com/showthread.php?t=114935
For the bigger scales I made my own one :wink:

Edit: and I had to change the pose a bit for the animator unfortunately.

Lovin it

hey,nice update Storm,i think Scales need variation in size and deepness ,the more heavier thicker scales in some area would be great:)
